2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 cup Chopped Onions

4 slice Green Chillies

5 Garlic Cloves

900g Lean Ground Beef

1 cup Chopped Tomatoes

Salt, To Taste

1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

2 tsp Chilli Powder

2 tsp Paprika

1/2 tsp Dried Oregano

2 Cinnamon Sticks

6 Whole Cloves

1 cup Red Kidney Beans



  1. On a medium level flame, heat the oil in a stockpot.
  2. Add the chilli pepper, onion, and garlic and sauté until they turn soft.
  3. Add the beef and keep stirring until it turns brown.
  4. Add the pepper, salt, cumin, paprika, chilli powder, oregano, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and chopped tomatoes.
  5. Cover the stockpot and allow it to simmer for around 45 minutes.
  6. Finally, add the kidney beans.
  7. Cook for around 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the cinnamon sticks, serve with rice, and enjoy!
