Guava Curry Recipe 

Ingredients 

  • Guava
  • Cumin seeds
  • Cooking oil 
  • Hing
  • Coriander powder
  • Tomato
  • Turmeric powder
  • Green chilli
  • Ginger
  • Fennel powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Salt
  • Dry mango powder
  • Lemon juice
  • Whisked curd.

Preparation method 

  1. Add cumin seeds and hing in a pan with some hot cooking oil. 
  2. Continuously stir for a few minutes before adding tomato, green chillies and ginger. 
  3. Cook for two minutes before adding red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, dry mango powder and salt. 
  4. Ensure oil separates from the sides before adding curd. Continuously stir until the curd is cooked.   
  5. Add the cut guava pieces in the pan and some water. 
  6. Cover with a lid and leave alone for eight minutes under medium heat. 
  7. Afterwards, add lemon juice.
  8. Stir well before garnishing with fresh coriander.
