Bombay Duck is a fish that is peculiar to the Arabian Sea, found mostly off the coast of Bombay, now Mumbai. It has a very distinct flavour which lends itself very well to the preparation of curries & pickles. Our version of the Bombay Duck pickle is an old Goan recipe that involves the use of sun dried Bombay Duck.
The perfect accompaniment for poppadums and wheat crackers. Goes well with most curries and breads. Use as a condiment for sandwich spreads. Instant noodles, burgers and pizzas. Makes for a good dip with roast potatoes / vegetables or cucumber, celery and carrot sticks.
