Gits Rice Idli Mix 200g
Ready to cook savory Rice pan cake dry mix, 100% Vegetarian, No preservatives, No artificial Flavour or colour, An Alternative to the steamed rice-lentil idli, rava idli is made from semolina tempered with spices, blended with yogurt & steamed.
How to prepare:
1. Put to boil approx, 1ltr water in a large steaming vessel or pressure cooker, Mix content of this pack with 500ml of water add 2tsp fiely chopped coriander leaves, stir to a smooth batter and set aside for 10mins.
2. Lightly grease idli moulds with oil, stir batter gently and pour 30ml batter into each mould.
3. Place idli moulds inside the steaming vessel , cover and steam on high heat for 15mins , if pressure cooker is used, do not apply weight/whistle , serve steaming hot, fluffy side up with gits instant sambhar and coconut chutney.
Tip: for a tasty variation, cut idles into halves and deep fry , serve then with tomato ketchup
