Cyrus Todiwala has drawn on his fascinating cultural heritage to bring together a traditional accompaniment to any Parsee Wedding Feast. Shredded carrots, diced baby figs, chopped dates, mango & organic hunza apricots and golden sultanas combine to create a celebration pickle with jaggery (raw cane sugar) cane vinegar and crushed matured mustard.
'Gajjar Mewa Nu Achaar' This pickle is always served at all Parsee weddings as well as other festive occasions along with corn papad 'sariya'. Great with turkey, in sandwiches. A tablespoon mixed in with stuffing gives it that extra pop.
