Natco Black Urid Beans Whole 2 Kg
Product Description: Pulses and beans are amongst the most delicious and versatile of the ingredients . Naturally low in fat, high in fibre rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, they are perfect for vegetarian cooking.
Cooking Instructions: Soak beans in water for 12hrs of overnight. Rinse thoroughly and drain. Cover with fresh water, bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 mins or until tender. Caution: Do not eat raw, never cook beans in a slow cooker unless pre-soaked for 12hrs and boiled for 15mins.
Ingredients:1 Cup natco urid beans, 3 cloves of garlic, chopped, 1 onion, chopped 2 tbsp natco butter ghee :1 tsp natco cumin seeds '1/2 tbsp Natco garam masala, 1tbsp salt.
Method: Cook the beans as per the instructions above, add the garlic, onion tomatoes salt and chillies, mix well and cook for 15 mins. In a separate pan heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds until they splutter. Pour in to the urid dal and mix well. Serve garnished with the garam masala and fresh coriander.
