If you are planning on trying a new recipe for your Priya Tamarind Paste, here is an easy recipe you can try at home:

Priya Tamarind Rice Paste


  • 2 tbsp of Priya Tamarind Rice Paste
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Few Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds
  • Peanuts (as per need)
  • 1tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 cups of rice
  • Dried chillis

How to prepare:

  1. The first thing you need to do is prepare and cook the rice. Set aside.
  2. Roast the dry ingredients until light brown. Let it cool.
  3. Heat your pan and add your Priya Tamarind Paste. Add the mustard seeds and dry chillis. 
  4. Add the curry leaves and peanuts. Let it cook for a few minutes.
  5. Let it cool completely and mix the Tamarind paste with your cooked rice. You now have a classic Priya Tamarind Rice Paste. You can place the leftover in the fridge to preserve its taste and shelf life.
