The world's most expensive spice, due to the labor involved, our Spanish Saffron is hand-picked in Castilla-La-Mancha. Saffron is the stigma of the saffron crocus, the three tiny strands within each flower are hand-plucked with tweezers with 150 flowers needed to yield 1g of Saffron.
