Shan Dahi Bara Chat Masala 60g
(Seasoning for Lentil Dumplings in Yogurt) Delhi (India) Original Masala.
Ingredients: Dal Mash 1cup(200g), Skinless, Urid /split, Mung Maida, Salt, Meetha Soda, Oil/Ghee, Yogurt, Sugar powder.
Shan Dhai Bara Chaat Seasoning Preparation:
1. 1cup 200g Moong Soaked for 3-4hrs and then coarsely Grounded 1/2 cup /50g 1 tbsp soda) 3 cups(500g) for deep fry oil, 2,1/2 cups of yogurt Sieved through a muslim cloth 1tbsp of sugar Powder, Finely grounded Shan Dhai Bara chaat according to Taste. Steps of cooking: In Grounded dal add maida, Sugar Meetha soda and some water, Mix to make a thick paste , set aside for 15mins.
2. In hot oil fry the lentils till light golden remove from oil , and set aside to cool.
3. Refry the lentil dumplings Dhai Bara in hot oil until golden.
4.Soak Dhai Bara water for a while the press lightly to squeez out the water from the lentil dumpling.
5. Dissolve the sugar in yogurt then add lentil dumpling / dhai bara
Serving suggestions: Garnish with shan dhai bara chat seasoning
Ingredients: Red chilli , Paprika, Salt coriander, Black pepper, cinnamon, Bay Leaf, Cumin Brown Cardamom, Cloves, Mace, Long black pepper, Citric Acid.
