Traditional beef Samosa


  • Ground beef
  • Wonton pastry wrappers
  • Crushed cloves
  • Chopped onion
  • Salt
  • ground cumin
  • Ground coriander

  • Lemon juice

How to prepare 

  1. Heat a large pan with cooking oil. Afterwards, add garlic, onion and ground beef.
  2. Cook until the beef turns brown under medium heat for seven minutes.
  3. Add ginger, coriander, turmeric, cumin, chilli powder and salt to the pan.
  4. Mix for a few seconds before adding both water and peas. Cover and allow the meal to cook for twenty minutes.
  5. Afterwards, stir in garam masala and jalapeno in the pan. Stir while adding lemon juice.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside for ten minutes.
  7. Fill the wonton pastry wrappers. 
  8. Fold the edges of the wrapper by moistening it with water. 
  9. Heat oil and fry the samosa until a brown colour form.

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Butter
  • Water
  • Frozen peas
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Cheese
  • Cilantro leaves
  • Mango chutney

Preparation method

  1. Mix butter, mashed potatoes, water, salt and garam masala. Afterwards, microwave for three minutes.
  2. Add cheese and peas in the mixture and continue stirring.
  3. Afterwards, transfer the mixture to the wonton wrappers and fold.
  4. Heat butter and cook the samosas.
  5. Cook for two minutes until the wrappers turn brown.
