Shan Chat Masala 100g
Mix for punjabi style mild chickpeas curry,
Ingredients required: Chick peas, 1cup, chanay 1cup, chholay 250g, onions 1 small finely chopped, butter/ghee 1 cup, Shan Chat Masala 1tbsp,
Steps of cooking: Drain the water from the soaked chickpeas and add 5 glass of water boil for 2-3hrs, on low heat
2. Then add Shan Chat Masala mix on low heat for 45mins or until chanas turn to darken shade
3. Heat Ghee/butter/oil and fry the onions for about 5mins, Then add the boiled channa chholey
4. Stir for 5-10mins or until the gravy thickensand separate oil/ghee from channas.
Serving suggestions: Garnish with chopped green chillies and lemon juice, serve with puris, parathas, naans.
